About Us

Aligned to the National Competency Standard TLI F1 07C – "Follow Occupational Health & Safety Procedures" (OH&S) and its predecessor TDT F1 97B, the Bluecard™ Skills Training Passport System (Bluecard™) has been designed in response to the challenges faced by industry in working toward incorporating national competency standards within the Transport and Distribution industry.

Bluecard™ reinforces the OH&S roles and responsibilities of employees and employers, raising the baseline safety standard in organizations.

Bluecard™ produces attitudinal change within participants, offsetting the "she'll be right" work habits.

• Holding F1 means that participants agree to read workplace policy / procedures and stick to them!

• The course drives the key principle that when people change jobs or work environment, they have a responsibility to ensure they learn, understand and practice the new procedures and policies. The course builds the understanding that a competent person will ensure they do so.

The Bluecard™ has the option to be used as a skills passport, to endorse other National Competency Standards up to Certificate IV level.

For example, if a person also holds 'Level 1 - E3 Participate in Workplace Communication' and 'Level 2 - D19 Pack & Unpack Cartons for Removal', they can be added to the back of the cards easily.

To maintain quality and standards Bluecard™ uses a disciplined approach to ensure Registered Training Providers (RTO's) provide industry with the highest standard of delivery:

• Providers are licensed to deliver the Bluecard™ Safety Awareness Training Program.

• RTO's hold accreditation under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) National Standards and

•All trainer/assessors must hold the appropriate qualifications in Workplace Assessment & Training.
